Domain inspiration

Coming up with a new domain name can be frustrating in the least. Either every conceivable combination of characters you come up with have been taken, or you have a complete block on ideas altogether. Here is some inspiration.

First up is Domains Bot a site that offers domain name suggestions based on your keywords. Type in your keywords or sentence and a list of potential names are returned.

Suggestions for domain names that are available to register straight away, domains that are for sale and domains that are expiring. All of the suggestions are ranked by best suggestion first based on factors such as relevance and popularity.

If you have a complete block on ideas then you can just search on keywords relating to your site or site idea. You will get a list of domains that are already registered that you can use to draw inspiration for your own name.

The second site which has been around for a while but can still provide some useful inspiration is nameboy. I have used this site many times to provide inspiration for a domain name. Like Domains Bot it can also be used to see which domain names with your keywords have already been registered.
